On October 20-21,2 016, within the frameworks of working visit to Lori region in the Armenian-Chinese cooperation context, the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of China, Tian Erlung, visited Alaverdi copper smelting factory of of «Vallex» group’s «ACP» CJSC. He also visited the workshop, learned about production indicators and got informed about production prospects.
Within the visit, the delegation, headed by the Ambassador and accompanied by the deputy governor of Lori region Arsen Darbinyan and the specialist on industrial issues of Lori regional administration Sevak Hovhannisyan, visited also «Teghout» CJSC.
Together with Valeri Mejlumyan, the Chairman of «Vallex» Group Companies and the Executive director of «Teghout» CJSC, as well as with other representatives of the company, the guests visited the bicycling and hiking park, built on the company’s territory, where the head of the company told the guests about the prospects of tourism development in the region. Afterwards, the delegation visited the open pit and the processing plant of «Teghout» CJSC and got acquainted with the production process in details. The Ambassador also visited Tailings Storage Facility.
