Customs broker announcement

Requirements to the Organization for Customs Broker Services (hereinafter Services)  

The organization must have:

  1. an appropriate license issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of RA,
  2. staff, having relevant professional knowledge,
  3. an experiment, necessary for the provision of services, export and import process, customs procedures formulations,
  4.  in case of signing a service provision contract with a company, the organization must:
  • carry out customs formulations and other actions required by RA legislation, concerning declared product,
  • provide information on the process of customs formulations (status, unpredictable situations, inquiries by customs authorities, delays, etc.),
  • provide for minimal customs formulations deadlines,
  • offer possible cost savings for Companies.

Vallex group companies operate in the mining industry sector. For their service operations the companies are importing large quantities of goods, which meet the production, construction, laboratory and other requirements of the Companies.  The number of companies involved in export and import transactions for January-April 2015 is presented in the table below:

Procedure for Participating in the Competition

In order to participate in the competition it is necessary to submit an application for participation in Vallex group companies office (address: Khanjyan str. 19, Yerevan, the Republic of Armenia). The deadline for submitting the applications and related documents is June 8, 2015, 4:00 pm.

The competition for service provision is announced for the second semester. A new contest will be announced for each semester.

The application can be submitted in a free style, in the form of a letter (application). In the application or related documents an applicant organization must submit information, reflecting its experience and scope of work:

  1. general information on the organization activities,
  2. an appropriate copy of license issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of RA,
  3. information on the experience of organizing work in similar fields,
  4. a copy of financial statements of 2014,
  5. information on the number and types of customs formulations performed in the first quarter of 2015,
  6. data on their experience and qualifications of the staff responsible for service provision,
  7. main customers list,
  8. the proposed timeframe for service provision and the amount of time worked,
  9. payment terms for service provision,
  10. the price offered for the services provided under the following types of services:

 Carrying out customs formulations of more than 1 vehicle by the same supplier (or the same recipient) imported or exported by the Company

 Carrying out customs formulations of cargo by air transport by the same supplier (or the same recipient) imported or exported by the Company

4.

 Carrying out customs formulations of non-commercial cargo by the same supplier (or the same recipient) imported or exported by the Company

5.

 Carrying out customs formulations and (or) for each additional cargo customs declaration by one vehicle (car, wagon, container) by more than one supplier (or the same recipient) imported or exported by the Company

6.

 Re-declaration of each formulated cargo (customs regime change, reformulation of invalidated cargo customs declaration)

7.

 Based on cargo specifications acquisition or receipt of a certificate, permit, conclusion, reference or other document required by customs authorities for each copy
