On November 7, 2015, on the initiative of “Teghout” company and with the support of “Manes” charitable foundation for school graduation pupils and the representatives of pedagogical staff of Teghout and Shnogh villages of Lori region, RA, a familiarization tour in “Teghout” mining complex was organized.  The students of EU Tumanyan section of the youth club, jury members of Rolan Bikov children’s and youth film festival and other interested people participated in the tour.

The participants of the event visited open pit, processing plant, and TSF. In all objects of the visit clarifications on the features of the ring, operation were given, asked questions were answered.  There was also a visit to the 13th-century grape-press found in the territory of the mining complex, clarifications were given to the measures taken to preserve these and other historical-cultural monuments discovered in the territory of the complex.

After the tour, the event participants visited the Kobayr monastery complex, where a candle lighting and a general prayer took place. After the monastery complex the group left for Tumanyan city of Lori region, RA, where flowers were laid to Hovhannes Tumanyan’s monument and two symbolic fir trees were planted nearby. The event continued with tree planting in the area adjacent to the secondary school of Tumanyan city: for about 100 fir trees were planted.
